A Guide to Globe Life Field

Located in the heart of Arlington’s Entertainment District, Globe Life Field is the state-of-the-art home of the Texas Rangers, distinguished by its 5.5-acre retractable roof. Opened in 2020 it blends modern luxury and advanced technology with traditional architectural touches.

Getting to the Ballpark

Globe Life Field is situated within a dense sports and entertainment hub that includes AT&T Stadium, Choctaw Stadium, and Six Flags Over Texas. These venues share a common infrastructure of roads and parking lots designed to manage large volumes of traffic between Dallas and Fort Worth.

  • Driving & Parking
    • Season Ticket Holder Lots
Lots B, C, and Q are primarily designated for season ticket holders. These areas require specific permits and are not available for general daily purchase.
    • Reserved Parking
Lots A, C, and R are reserved parking zones. These are located closer to the stadium entrances and carry a higher price point due to their proximity to the gates.
    • Prepurchase Lots
Lots V, D, and M are available for prepurchase. Securing these spots in advance through the MLB Ballpark app is recommended to guarantee a space before arriving at the district.
    • Day of Game Parking
All other official lots are available for purchase on the day of the game using a credit card, as the stadium is a cashless venue. As a general rule, the cost of parking increases as the distance to the stadium decreases.
    • Parking Tips and Tricks
A popular local alternative is parking at J. Gilligan's Bar and Grill a mile south of the stadium. Free parking is available in the area and fans can take a shuttle from the restaurant to the stadium for about half the cost of average official parking. Fans should avoid parking in nearby retail lots, such as those near Walmart or along Stadium Drive, as these businesses strictly enforce towing policies during games.
  • Rideshare
The designated rideshare drop-off and pick-up zone is located in Lot C on the north side of the stadium.
  • Arlington Entertainment District Trolley
If you are staying at any of the nearly 30 participating hotels in Arlington, you can use the free trolley service that drops off near the stadium.
