Getting to the Ballpark
Citi Field is easily accessible with both robust public transit and significant parking
Public Transit
- The Subway (7 Train)The Mets-Willets Point station serves the stadium. Fans coming from Manhattan can take the 7 Express (purple diamond), which runs on game days and cuts travel time significantly. Driving & Parking
The stadium is in Queens, bordered by the Grand Central Parkway, the Whitestone Expressway, and the Long Island Expressway. There are 5 official lots surrounding the stadium with Lot B (closest to the stadium) reserved for season ticket holders. Fans can pre-purchase parking through the team's website, which is cheaper than buying day of. Additionally there is discounted offsite parking at the Skyview Mall, a 10 minute walk along the south side of the Roosevelt Avenue bridge.
Rideshare
The designated rideshare zone is located just beyond the intersection of Shea Road and Boat Basin Place, northwest of the stadium. Exiting the stadium from the Left Field Gate, as well as the Seaver, Stengel, or Rotunda stairs on the third base side of the stadium provides the fastest walking route to the rideshare zone. Upon exiting one of these locations, walk north along Lot B, past the CitiBike station, cross Shea Road, and then look for the signed rideshare area underneath the highway. Pregame drop offs can still be made along Seaver Way or Roosevelt Ave.

The area immediately surrounding Citi Field is currently in a state of transition. To the west is Corona (famous for Italian ice and diverse street food), and to the east is Flushing (one of the largest Chinatowns in the world).
