PNC Park

PNC Park is located on the North Shore of Pittsburgh. Because it is across the river from the central business district, you have several transit options

Light Rail (The T) & Park and Rides

The T is free to ride between any Downtown station and the North Side Station (located right outside the PNC Park Home Plate entrance).

• The T Free Fare Zone
  Park at the First Avenue Garage and take the T for free from the attached station directly to the stadium.
• Suburban Park and Rides
  For those coming from the South Hills, park for cheap and ride the T into the city. Key stations include:
  • South Hills Village Garage
    2,200 spaces; the end of the line.
  • Washington Junction
    A major transfer hub with over 200 spaces.
  • Memorial Hall / Castle Shannon
    High-capacity lots along the Blue and Red lines. North Shore Parking (Closest to the Gates)

North Shore Parking (Closest to the Gates)

If you want to be steps from the entrance, park on the North Shore. Parking can be pre-purchased through the team website or MLB Ballpark App.

• Red Lots
  The Red Lots are north of the stadium and are generally the closest parking.
  • Red Lots 5 & 6
    The closest lots to the stadium, these are both prepaid only. Lot 6 is known for its pregame tailgating crowd
  • Red Lots 7 (A-D)
    These lots are further north near the light rail tracks and offer lower rates and accessibility for those who didn't pre-purchase
• Gold Lots
  The Gold Lots are west of the stadium closer to Acrisure Stadium for a cheaper price
• Blue Garages
  The Blue Garages are northeast of the stadium near the Andy Warhol Museum with the Blue 10 garage being the closest

Downtown Parking (The Golden Triangle)

Parking downtown and walking across the Roberto Clemente Bridge (6th Street) is the traditional pilgrimage for Pirates fans. Garages here are often cheaper.

• Ft. Duquesne & Sixth Garage
  Located at the foot of the Clemente Bridge. This is the most popular Downtown option for fans who want the shortest walk across the river.
• Theater Square Garage
  Located on 7th Street; very close to the bridge and surrounded by restaurants.
• Riverfront Center Garage
  Located on Stanwix Street with great access to the riverfront trails.

Rideshare

The designated rideshare zones are on Isabella St between Range Way and Sandusky St east of the stadium and on Reedsdale Street on the west side between the Gold 1 ramp and Gold 1 Garage HOV exit

Due to its location on the North Shore, just across the bridge from the Golden Triangle, there are a couple of neighborhoods that make great pregame options.

The Cultural District & Downtown (South Side of the River)

Starting here allows you to enjoy Pittsburgh’s premier dining scene before making the scenic walk across the bridge.

  A high end, lucha libre themed taco shop with incredible margaritas and a rock-and-roll vibe.
• Gaucho Parrilla Argentina
  Widely considered one of the best restaurants in the city, serving wood fired meats and authentic Argentinian flavors.
• Sienna Mercato
  A three story Italian eatery with three different concepts: a meatball joint, charcuterie & pizzeria, and a rooftop beer garden with a retractable glass roof that offers a great urban view.
• Proper Brick Oven & Tap Room
  Ideal for high quality pizza and a large list of local craft beers in a warm, industrial setting.
• Meat & Potatoes
  A chic gastropub known for its bone marrow, steaks, and world class cocktails

The North Shore

Federal Street becomes a block party on game days with live music, vendors, and a heavy security presence that keeps the area family friendly.

• Mike's Beer Bar
  A fan favorite featuring 80 local taps and over 500 varieties of beer.
• North Shore Tavern
  Famous for its Steak on a Stone and an extensive collection of Pirates memorabilia.
• The Wigle Bar at North Shore
  A satellite location of the local distillery, serving craft whiskey cocktails.
• North Shore Plaza
  This entertainment and dining hub directly outside of the Home Plate entrance is the newest fan gathering place. Featuring a 40 foot LED screen it is anchored by SugarBird, a fast casual restaurant specializing in chicken and soft-serve ice cream.

The area stretching west toward Acrisure Stadium (where the Steelers play) offers high energy taprooms and bars with a party atmosphere.

• Southern Tier Brewery Pittsburgh
  A destination brewery with a huge outdoor beer garden that fills with fans hours before first pitch.
• Shorty's Pins x Pints
  A social hub featuring duckpin bowling, arcade games, and street tacos.
• Tom's Watch Bar - Pittsburgh
  A new high tech sports bar with 360 degree screens and stadium views.
• Burgatory
  Known for high end custom burgers and their famous boozy milkshakes.

Neighborhood Attractions

If you have a full day, the North Shore and Downtown offer world class cultural landmarks within walking distance of the stadium.

• The Andy Warhol Museum
  Located just two blocks from the stadium, this is the largest museum in North America dedicated to a single artist. Across seven floors, you can explore the life and pop-art legacy of the Pittsburgh native.
• Point State Park
  Located at the tip of the Golden Triangle downtown, this 36-acre park marks the confluence of the three rivers. It features a massive 150-foot fountain and the Fort Pitt Museum, which details Pittsburgh's role in the French and Indian War.
• Children's Museum of Pittsburgh
  A 10 minute walk from the stadium, this is one of the top rated kids' museums in the country, featuring interactive exhibits like the MAKESHOP and Waterplay.
• National Aviary
  Located nearby in West Park, it is the only independent indoor nonprofit aviary in the U.S., housing over 500 birds from around the world.
• Randyland
  For something truly unique, walk about 15 minutes north to see this hyper-colorful, vibrant outdoor art installation that is free to the public.

PNC Park was designed to evoke the feel of Forbes Field, the Pirates' legendary former home. It's packed with history all throughout the stadium. Also don't miss the Perogie Race at the end of the 5th inning

• Honus Wagner
  Located at the Home Plate Entrance; originally dedicated in 1955 at Forbes Field.
• Roberto Clemente
  Located at the center field gate near the bridge.
• Willie Stargell
  Standing tall at the left field entrance.
• Bill Mazeroski
  Located at the right-field entrance, capturing his famous 1960 World Series-winning walk off celebration.

The Riverwalk

An open concourse between the outfield seats and the Allegheny River featuring historic displays and monuments

• Lower Riverwalk (outside the ballpark)
  • Oversized concrete baseballs of the 24 Hall of Fame players from the Pirates, Homestead Grays and Pittsburgh Crawfords.
  • Next to the stairs from the Lower Riverwalk to the Upper there are oversized numbers for each of the 10 retired numbers. (Billy Meyer #1, Ralph Kiner #4, Willie Stargell #8, Bill Mazeroski #9, Paul Waner #11, Pie Traynor #20, Roberto Clemente #21, Honus Wagner #33, Danny Murtaugh #40, Jackie Robinson #42). These numbers are also displayed on the second deck behind home plate
• Upper Riverwalk
  • 18 Championship and division winning flags from the Pirates, Grays and Crawfords
  • 8 designated markers of the longest home runs hit at PNC Park
  • First MLB All-Minority Lineup display behind the batter's eye in center field (September 1, 1971, the Pirates proudly became the first MLB franchise to field a starting lineup that consisted of all Black and Latino players)

The Pirates Hall of Fame Wall

Located along the main concourse after entering the Clemente Gate, this features interactive displays and plaques honoring greats like Max Carey, Ralph Kiner, and Negro League stars from the Homestead Grays and Pittsburgh Crawfords.

The main concourse is also peppered with history and displays

• Banners
  Large black and gold banners hanging from the rafters showing the 11 players who won the 25 batting championships with the Pirates. There are also banners showcasing the major award winners of the Pirates, Grays and Crawfords in addition to the World Championship seasons of the three baseball teams that have called Pittsburgh home.
• Custom Displays
  Along the third base side of the concourse are custom-made displays showcasing great moments in Pirates history. Along the first-base side are custom-made metal panels of various Yearbook and Program covers from past years

The Clemente Wall

The right field wall is exactly 21 feet high in honor of Roberto Clemente’s jersey number.

Club Level

In the club level are more displays telling the history of the Pirates through artwork and memorabilia

• RE/MAX Select Realty Home Plate Club
  Premium seating directly behind home plate that includes a luxury buffet and climate controlled lounge access.
• Pittsburgh Baseball Club
  Located on the 200-level. These seats are wider, cushioned, and provide access to a private concourse with high-end food, pool tables, and specialty bars.
• The Hangout Zone
  The area behind center field and along the Riverwalk has been transformed into a massive fan gathering space known for its open feel.
  • Kids Play Area
    Located in right center field, this area features the Lucky Climber Pirate Ship, a bouncy toy bridge styled after the Clemente Bridge, and life sized bobbleheads of Pirates legends for photo ops.
  • The Miller Lite Landing
    A premier social gathering space located just above the center field fence. It offers two rows of drink rails, high top seating, and a view that captures both the game and the city skyline. While open to anyone with a ticket the Pirates also sell a special ticket to this section that includes early access to the stadium and loaded value for purchase at the bar.
  • The Patio
    A leveled, widened platform between the upper and lower bleacher areas in left field. It provides a comfortable group space with furniture overlooking the action.
• The Money Shot (Sections 316-320)
  While the expensive seats are behind home plate, the upper-level seats in the 300-series offer the best view in baseball

  (Section 110) The iconic Pittsburgh sandwich with meat, cheese, coleslaw, and fries piled high on Italian bread.
• Manny’s BBQ
  (Center Field) Located on the Riverwalk. Famous for pulled pork, pulled chicken, and mini-pierogies. Former Pirates catcher Manny Sanguillén is often there greeting fans.
• Hickory Smoked BBQ
  (Section 140) Featuring the Smoked Turkey Leg (served with smoked gouda mac and cheese) and traditional brisket platters.

  (Sections 115, 132, 310) Famous for Crabfries served with a side of creamy white cheese sauce.

  (Section 118) Home of the local specialty items Chipped Ham Fries and the Cold Pierogi Salad.

Craft Beer

• Fat Head’s Bullpen Bar
  (Center Field) Located directly above the center field bullpens, it features a wide array of Fat Head’s staples plus rotating taps from other local partners.
• Cinderlands Corner Bar
  (Section 133) This bar specializes in local Cinderlands drafts and cans, including their popular Tart series and Full Circle pilsners.
• Walk Thru Bru Locations
  These are high speed, grab and go markets where you can grab a cold can and self-checkout. They primarily offer bigger brands but include some Cinderlands and Southern Tier options. They are located throughout the concourses and can generally be found in each quadrant of the stadium
• Other Stands
  Several traditional concession stands also carry Southern Tier in addition to standard big beer options.

Cocktails

• Skull Bar
  (Section 101) Tucked into the right field corner concourse this is the primary cocktail destination. It specializes in ready to drink vodka tea blends and signature rum based Skull cocktails.
• The Crow’s Nest
  (Behind Section 108) Located behind the first base side, this is an outdoor patio bar featuring lounge style seating with views of the river and bridge. It offers Spiked Tea and Lemonade Cocktails as well as standard beer offerings.
• Miller Lite Landing
  (Center Field) While named for a beer, this social area has a dedicated bar that serves specialty spiked slushies and canned cocktails (like High Noon and Surfside)
• Cocktail Bars
  Basic cocktail bars are located in the First and Third base concessions areas offering canned cocktails and basic pours.
• Canned Cocktails
  The Walk Thru Bru markets offer cans of Surfside and High Noon for easy access to spirit-based drinks.

Wine

• Skull Bar
  (Section 101) This is the only bar on the main concourse offering draft wine by the glass
• Small Format Canned Wine
  The most common way to get wine on the Main Concourse. Available at all Walk Thru Bru locations and The Market (Section 118).
• The Wine Bar
  (Section 220) Located on the Club Level, this is the specialty wine bar with a menu featuring a rotation of reds, whites, and rosés from California and Pennsylvania vineyards.
