Dodger Stadium

Reaching Dodger Stadium requires some planning due to Los Angeles' infamous traffic and general lack of public transit. Here are your primary options:

• Driving and Parking
  The most common way to get to the stadium is by car. The ballpark is perched on a hill surrounded by a large parking lot. It is highly recommended to purchase parking in advance online to save money and guarantee a spot. Be prepared for significant traffic, especially leaving after the game.
  • Preferred Parking
    The inner ring of lots are reserved for fans with Preferred Parking. Passes must be pre-purchased to parkin these lots and they are slightly more expensive. Lots G, I, and H are the best lots for fans entering through the Center Field Plaza with seats in the outfield. Lots B, D, and F serve the third base side while Lots K, L, and N serve first base. Lot P is best for the home plate entrance.
  • General Parking
    General parking can be pre-purchased through the team's website or purchased on game day for a slightly higher price. Sunset Gate A from Vin Scully Ave is best for parking in Lots 10, 11 or 12 which serve the home plate and third base gates. Gate B is best for Lots 1, 2 and 3 and serves third base and left field gates. Golden State Gate C enters from Academy Road north of the stadium with service to Lots 3, 4, and 15 and the Center Field Plaza entrance. Academy Gate D is on the northeast side of the stadium and Downtown Gate E is to the east and best for fans approaching from the 110 freeway. Both of these gates serve lots 5, 6, and 7 and the Center Field Plaza. Gate E also serves lots 8 and 10 on the first base side.
  • Alternatives
    There are offsite lots down the hill on Stadium Way (specifically lots 13 and 14) that are cheaper and allow you to skip the worst of the traffic after the game but they tend to fill up quickly. A few free street parking spots exist on Stadium Way north of Vin Scully Ave and in the surrounding neighborhoods but are extremely limited. You'll also have to walk up a significant hill to reach the stadium entrance.
• Rideshare
  Rideshares only drop off and pick up in Lot 1 leading to extended lines and wait times after the game. (Note, this recently moved from Lot 11 and old maps are still out there). One trick is to walk down the hill to Sunset and call a car from there. While you'll likely still deal with elevated prices you'll at least skip the lines. Plus you can always grab a bite or a drink and wait for the surge to die down.
• Dodger Stadium Express
  The main public transit option is the Dodger Stadium Express, a free bus service for ticket holders, operating from two locations:
  • Union Station
    Buses run every 10 minutes, starting 2.5 hours before game time and returning up to 45 minutes after the final out. It has 2 drop off locations, one behind Center Field and the other at the Top Deck. You can access Union Station via the A, B, D, or E Metro Lines or park at the Patsaouras Bus Plaza for $8. The bus operates out of Union Station West, in front of Fred Harvey, adjacent to Alameda Street.
  • South Bay
    A second bus service operates in the South Bay with pickup at Slauson, Manchester, Harbor Freeway, Rosecrans, or Harbor Gateway Transit Center (Bay 9) stations along the Silver (aka J) Express Bus Line. This line runs every 30 minutes starting 2.5 hours before game time, with the last bus leaving Harbor Gateway Transit Center at game time and drops off at Center Field. Return service begins after the end of the 7th inning, with the last bus departing 45 minutes after the final out

Dodger Stadium is situated in Elysian Park near the neighborhood of Echo Park. While the stadium is up on a hill and the immediate area around the stadium is primarily parking lots and grassy parkland, Sunset Blvd and Chinatown are relatively close and have abundant bars and restaurants.

• Short Stop
  A classic dive bar with a baseball theme, it's a favorite among Dodger fans and is the closest bar to the stadium.
• El Compadre
  Casual Mexican restaurant right next to Short Stop
• Guisados
  Located just steps from Vin Scully Avenue, this is a legendary spot for thick, handmade corn tortillas, stews and tacos. On game nights, they still serve their signature blue horchata called the "Dodgerata."
• Lowboy
  A dark, cozy neighborhood cocktail bar. It features a relaxed retro vibe and is highly praised for its smashburgers, classic fries, and well crafted drinks.
• The Douglas
  A relaxed gastropub offering an excellent craft beer tap list and an elevated bar food menu. It's unpretentious and highly recommended if you want to sit down and eat a real meal before walking up the hill.
• Philippe The Original
  A historic deli famous for inventing the French dip sandwich located near Union Station. This is one of the most popular pregame spots
• Chinatown Breweries
  Two of the absolute best breweries in Southern California sit on the same block of Main Street in Chinatown.

    HPB leans heavily into Dodger culture, frequently hosting watch parties and serving up gameday smashburgers, wings, and crisp lagers.
  • Homage Brewing
    Offering an airy patio, a high-fi sound system, and top-tier hazies, lagers, and wild saisons.
• The Park's Finest
  This mom and pop, Filipino-influenced American BBQ joint is known for its smoked tri-tip, hot link sausages, and coconut beef adobo.

Tailgating is prohibited: Those large parking lots may look ideal for a pregame tailgate but that is explicitly banned by the stadium. Enforcement is strong so don't take your chances

• Angels Point
  Located directly behind the stadium within Elysian Park, this is the ultimate pregame photo spot. It offers a stunning, elevated panoramic view of Dodger Stadium, the Downtown LA skyline, and the San Gabriel Mountains.
• Chavez Ravine Arboretum
  Located tucked away in Elysian Park, this is the oldest arboretum in Southern California, founded in 1893. It features a grove of rare, historic trees from all over the world. It’s an incredibly quiet, shady oasis if you want a tranquil retreat to escape the pregame hustle.
• Echo Park Lake
  Just a few minutes down Sunset Blvd, this iconic LA park is famous for its historic lotus flower beds, central geyser fountain, and views of the downtown skyline. Stroll the paved walking paths or rent one of the famous swan pedal boats to cruise the water before heading to the game.

Though less discussed than the two ballparks older than it, Dodger Stadium is the 3rd oldest ballpark in MLB.   An oversized bobblehead honors the "Fernandomania" icon, 1981 Cy Young/Rookie of the Year winner, and long time Spanish language broadcaster.

• Centerfield Plaza
  Located behind the outfield pavilions this area offers a beer garden, food stands, and a family friendly play area. It serves as a grand entrance and a social hub for fans and features many of the history and interactive features of the stadium
• Top Deck
  The highest level of the stadium offers breathtaking panoramic views of the field, the city skyline, and the surrounding mountains. It also features the largest team store in the stadium as well as some of the aforementioned displays and installations
• The Pavilions
  Though not as iconic as the Wrigley Bleachers the outfield seating in left and right field are known for their lively and energetic atmosphere. The unique, wavy roof of the pavilions is a signature architectural feature of the stadium.
• Playgrounds
  There are four distinct playgrounds across the park: the Left Field and Right Field Playgrounds (located inside the Centerfield Plaza) and the Left and Right Reserve Playgrounds (located on the upper level concourse near sections 22-28 and 23-27).
• Yaamava' Dugout Club
  Located in the first nine rows behind home plate this section includes exclusive access to private club space, multiple bars, in-seat service and complimentary food and non-alcoholic beverages. They generally have to be purchased via a 20 game minimum ticket package, though seats can be found on secondary ticket sites.

  Positioned in the first two rows behind the outfield walls in left and right field. Available for groups of 21 and 24, these padded seats feature a personal drink rail and include basic complimentary ballpark food (hot dogs, nachos, wraps, and soft drinks) with dedicated in-seat service.

  Semi-private social decks. The Field Party Boxes accommodate up to 30 guests on the Field level right next to the bullpens, offering high top tables, stool seating, and drink rails.   Spanning the first nine rows directly behind home plate these tickets grant access to an exclusive, private under stadium lounge featuring a high end complimentary buffet, private restrooms, and attentive in-seat service. (Note: While the luxury food is entirely free, alcohol at the private bars requires an additional purchase). Tickets can be purchased in full, half and quarter season packages through the team, though single game seats may be found on the secondary market.
• Lexus Baseline Club
  Positioned down the first and third base lines this club offers the same luxurious perks as the Dugout Club including a full all-inclusive lounge buffet, private restrooms, and in-seat servers but from a field level perspective stretching down the foul lines.
• Suites
  A ring of 56 fully private luxury boxes lining the suite level. Accommodating 20 to 30 guests, each suite is built with a climate controlled indoor lounge, an outdoor viewing deck, catering packages, a dedicated suite attendant, and private restrooms.
• Champions Lounge
  The largest private single event box in the stadium, located on the Suite Level and overlooking right field. Dodger Stadium's food and beverage offerings go far beyond the classic ballpark fare.
