Chase Field's downtown location makes it accessible by car or public transit.

• Driving & Parking

    Downtown Phoenix is encircled by the I-10 and I-17 interstates making it easy to get to from the surrounding areas. The stadium itself is about a 10 min drive off of the highway though many of the surrounding streets are closed during events making traffic an issue, particularly after the game
  • Parking
    The official Chase Field Garage (401 S. 4th St.) and the Jefferson St. Garage (333 E. Jefferson St.) are the closest and most convenient options. You can pre-book parking online via the Diamondbacks' website or third-party apps to guarantee a spot. Numerous other private and city-owned garages are within a 5-10 minute walk. Free parking can be found between Jefferson & Jackson and 9th-12th Streets or near Roosevelt Row but the 15-30 minute walk might not be ideal in the Arizona heat.
• Public Transit
  The Valley Metro Light Rail runs 2 lines in the region. The A line runs east-west through Mesa, Tempe and Phoenix while the B line runs north-south through Phoenix. From the A line the 3rd St / Washington stop is a couple of blocks from Chase Field. From the B line you can walk about 10 from the Downtown Phoenix Hub transit station or transfer to the A line and go 1 stop to the 3rd St / Jefferson station directly in front of the stadium. Park-and-Ride lots are available at many stations along the route, allowing you to avoid downtown traffic entirely.
• Rideshare
  There are two designated rideshare zones on 5th St north of Washington or on Jackson St east of 9th St. Be prepared for surge pricing and heavy traffic immediately after the game.

Chase Field is part of a vibrant downtown sports and entertainment district. It's adjacent to the Footprint Center (home of the Phoenix Suns), the Phoenix Convention Center, and a dense, walkable area of hotels, bars, and restaurants.

Pregame Bars & Restaurants

• Guy Fieri’s DTPHX Kitchen + Bar
  Located in a two story building attached to the stadium, this sportsbook and full service restaurant combo features nine betting windows and 13 self service betting kiosks as well as wall to wall TVs, patio space, and table and lounge style seating.
• Tacos
  Willie's Taco Joint is a pregame staple, located steps from the stadium. Due to it’s proximity it can get very crowded. Tacos Calafia Downtown and Taco Boy's are other good options about a mile from the stadium.
• Crown Public House
  A soccer focused pub that transforms into a bustling baseball bar on game days. It’s a great choice for a more traditional pub feel just a block away, right next to Willie’s Taco Joint.
• Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers
  A popular local chain with a location at the northwest corner of the stadium (4th & Jefferson) . It's a classic, reliable spot for a burger and a huge selection of beers before the game. While you don’t need a game ticket to get into the restaurant you will need one to sit on their patio style terrace in left field (more details below).
• Pizzeria Bianco
  James Beard Award winning pizza in Heritage Square, about a 10 minute walk away. Expect a wait for these artisanal wood-fired pizzas once named the best pizza in America.
• Cornish Pasty Co
  A cult favorite pub set in a historic building with cozy, dark wood booths. It's always busy and has a unique, hearty menu.
• Mrs. White’s Golden Rule Cafe
  A family owned eatery serving homestyle Southern & soul food since the 1960’s, known for their fried chicken.

• Baseball, A Family Tradition
  Located outside the main plaza, this bronze statue by Clarke Riedy depicts a father and his two children in baseball gear, capturing the spirit of the game.
• Based on Balls
  Near the box office, you can't miss this whimsical kinetic ball sculpture by George Rhoads. It's a Rube Goldberg-style machine with a baseball theme that mesmerizes kids and adults.
• Diamondbacks Hall of Fame & History Museum
  Located on the main concourse near Section 131, it's open to all ticketed fans. It includes the 2001 World Series Trophy, Cy Young and Gold Glove awards, game used memorabilia and exhibits on the team history and logos.
• Championship Banners & Displays
  While the Hall of Fame holds the artifacts, the main concourses are lined with displays celebrating the team's history. The most prominent are the banners and large scale graphics commemorating the 2001 World Series Championship. You will find massive photos and wall displays dedicated to the team's victory, particularly Luis Gonzalez's series winning hit, which have become permanent fixtures of the ballpark's interior.

  Along the upper levels and main concourses, you will see large, prominent displays for the team's retired numbers

• The Retractable Roof & A/C
  The 9-million-pound roof can open or close in about four and a half minutes. For the vast majority of the season, it remains closed, allowing the air conditioning system to keep the ballpark at 78°F. As the system has aged it has struggled to keep the stadium cool, though renovations announced in 2025 will address and upgrade the system.
• From Grass to Turf
  While famous for being the first park to grow natural grass under a retractable roof, the team switched to a high tech synthetic turf in 2019. This provides a more consistent playing surface and helps with cooling efficiency. In moving to turf Chase Field eliminated the keyhole dirt strip between the mound and home, once an iconic part of the stadium.

• The Honeywell Sandlot
  A dedicated kids' play area located on the Upper Concourse (near section 332) in left field. It features a wiffle ball field, a playground, and activities for families.
• In-Stadium Restaurants
  • Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers
    A patio style terrace in left field. You can buy a ticket for a table, which includes a $40 food and beverage credit.
  • Bourbon & Bones
    An upscale cocktail lounge and steakhouse on the main concourse with a direct view of the field.
  • Estrella Jalisco Cantina
    A casual cantina style restaurant above right field.
• Bar-S All-You-Can-Eat Seats
  Located in Sections 221-223 on the Diamond Level, these tickets include unlimited access to standard ballpark fare (hot dogs, nachos, popcorn, peanuts, and soft drinks).
• The Pool
  The stadium's most famous feature. Located in right centerfield the suite can be for groups of up to 35. It includes a hot tub, private patio, and food and beverage packages.
• Avnet Home Plate Club
  These premium seats (Sections G-M) are directly behind home plate. A ticket here includes wider, cushioned seats, in seat wait service, and access to exclusive indoor clubs like the Avnet Home Plate Club and Casino Arizona Players Lounge.
• Batter’s Box & Dugout Suites
  These are field level suites located between the Home Plate Club and the dugouts that give you unrivaled proximity to the action.
• Home Run Porch
  Situated in left field (Sections 101-105 & 139-144), these seats are close to the action and offer a unique perspective, with some spots hanging just over the outfield wall.

• Hispanic Items
  Given Arizona’s large Mexican population it’s not a surprise that the stadium features a number of hispanic food options. Rey Gloria's Tamales (section 137), Someburros (sections 115 & 314), A-Zona Street Tacos (section 208) and Taqueria Los D-backs (section 123) feature classics like tacos, tamales and street corn. Don’t miss the Sonoran Nachos from Someburros.
• Over the Top Items
  Increasingly en vogue throughout stadiums, Chase Field feature a couple of very large, over the top menu items including The Grand Slamwich, a 20-inch sandwich that is half chicken parmesan and half meatball sub, and the Footlong Sonoran Dog topped with ranch beans, bacon, pico de gallo, and mayo drizzle.
• The Churro Dog
  The legendary signature dessert. It's a warm cinnamon churro served in a Long John chocolate glazed donut, topped with frozen yogurt, whipped cream, and caramel and chocolate sauces. Find it at Churro Dog HQ (Section 129). They also offer s’mores nachos for those with a sweet tooth.
• Value Items
  Double Header's concessions stands offer a value menu that includes $3 hot dogs, peanuts, and popcorn as well as $5 beers.
• Drinks
  While the stadium doesn’t stand out with its beverage (particularly alcohol) selections it covers the bases to keep most people satisfied. For craft beer your best bet is Four Peaks Brewing (section 139) with Grab-N-Go (sections 113, 134,207, 217 ) offering a few items as well. Don’t miss the Michelada Stand (section 120) for the eponymous Mexican beer cocktail. Liquor bars are scattered around the main 100 level concourse sponsored by respective large brands while seltzers and wine can be found at these bars as well as specialty drinks stands such as Grab-N-Go and Beer Portables (various locations).
