Caesars Superdome

The stadium sits in downtown New Orleans, part of the Central Business District near the Mississippi River. The location makes it accessible from throughout the metro area, though gameday traffic and road closures require careful planning.

Driving & Parking

• Driving
  • From the East (I-10 Westbound)
    Take Exit 235B (Canal Street/Superdome). Turn right onto Cleveland Avenue, right onto South Claiborne Avenue, and right onto Poydras Street (moving away from the stadium), then make a U-turn back toward the stadium.
  • From the West (I-10 Eastbound)
    Take Exit 234B (Poydras Street/Superdome) and continue straight onto Poydras Street directly toward the stadium.
  • From the North (via Lake Pontchartrain Causeway or I-55 South)
    Take the Lake Pontchartrain Causeway south or I-55 South to connect with I-10 Eastbound toward downtown New Orleans. Once on I-10 East, take Exit 234B (Poydras Street/Superdome) to approach the stadium directly.
• Parking
  The stadium is ringed by 4 main garages, the Champions Square Garage at the corner of Dave Dixon Dr & Sasalle St. and several surface lots to the south and west. All garages have a limited number of spots reserved for season ticket holders. Pre-purchased parking is available through the Superdome for the garages while Garage 1A, Lot 3, Lot 3A and the Champions Garage are available for purchase on game days. Tailgating is allowed in the official garages but open flames are not. The main tailgating happens in the private surface lots slightly farther away, particularly under the overpass just off of Poydras St. For tailgating supplies Rouses Market has multiple locations including one at in the French Quarter. CVS has locations throughout downtown.

Public Transit

• Streetcar
  The iconic streetcars run through much of the city's core, particularly along St. Charles Ave and Canal Street. The Poydras stop on the 46 (Rampart/UPT Line) is the closest stop to the stadium while the LaSalle or Marais stops onthe 47 (Canal/Cemeteries Line) and 48 (Canal/City Park Line) are a short walk away rather than requiring a transfer to the more limited 46 Line. Carondelet St at Poydras St is the best station for those coming from the 12 (St. Charles) Line The Caesars Superdome is accessible via the 49 RTA streetcar line. The Loyola Avenue Streetcar Line stops at the Union Passenger Terminal (UPT), which is just a short walk from the stadium. The nearest streetcar station is Julia Street Station. • Bus
  Multiple RTA bus routes serve the area, including lines 3, 8, 51, 52, 57, 61, 84, and 91

Rideshare

• The designated rideshare zone is located along Poydras Street on the north side of the stadium.

The area surrounding Caesars Superdome offers an incredible variety of bars, restaurants, and entertainment. The downtown and Warehouse districts are packed with options within walking distance.

• Champions Square
  This outdoor amphitheater and public event space is located adjacent to Caesars Superdome on LaSalle Street. Opened on the site of the former New Orleans Centre Mall, it's known as the premier tailgating space for sports events. The plaza features an amphitheater and with brass bands, food vendors, and skyline views.
• Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux - New Orleans
  This location is steps from the Superdome and features historic New Orleans architecture with a vibrant atmosphere. Named the No. 1 sports bar in America by ESPN, it offers scratch made Louisiana food and an extensive beer selection.
• The Prytania Bar
  Located on the cusp of the historic Garden District, this laidback neighborhood watering hole features a 360-degree bar with ample seating. They offer Southern Regional Craft beers on tap, fun cocktails, wings, tacos, and burritos. It is one block from the 12 Line streetcar making it a perfect option for those wanting to avoid the immediate stadium area before the game.
• The Rusty Nail
  This beloved neighborhood bar features a huge, beautiful patio, 200+ whiskey options, beers, frozen drinks, and oysters from Sidecar NOLA. It's tucked on the edge of the Warehouse District

  Located inside the Hilton New Orleans Riverside, this is a must visit New Orleans dining institution. Famous for the original Charbroiled Oysters and Mama Ruth's Gumbo, it offers an extensive seafood menu. Named one of Saints quarterback Drew Brees' favorite restaurants.
• Copper Vine Restaurant
  This wine gastropub is nestled in downtown New Orleans surrounded by lush greenery. With an extensive wine list and a menu featuring Southern Regional cuisine, it's perfect for brunch, lunch, and dinner. The lunch, brunch, and dinner menus are perfect for sharing and pairing with wine.
• The Sazerac Bar
  Located in the Roosevelt Hotel, it is is the site of the creation of America's first cocktail, the Sazerac. On the edge of the French Quarter, it features a long bar made from African walnut and has been serving the famous cocktail since 1938.
• Central Grocery and Deli
  Home of the original muffuletta. This iconic deli closed due to Hurricane Ida damage but reopened in December 2024. The muffuletta is a gigantic sandwich made on 9-inch round sesame bread and stuffed with Genoa salami, ham, mortadella, cheese, and olive salad made from a secret family recipe.

• Lafayette Square
  The second-oldest public park in New Orleans (after Jackson Square), located in the Central Business District. This 2.5-acre park has been the site for inaugurations, yearly pilgrimages by school bands, and jazz concerts for over 150 years. It's a prized greenspace surrounded by towering office buildings.
• Jackson Square
  Located on the Mississippi River on Decatur Street, in front of the St. Louis Cathedral in the heart of the French Quarter. It's the historic heart of New Orleans and features the statue of General Andrew Jackson on horseback, the Cabildo, the Presbytère, and the Pontalba Buildings with their lacy ironwork galleries.
• St. Louis Cathedral
  The oldest continuously active Roman Catholic Cathedral in the United States, dating back to 1727. It overlooks Jackson Square in the French Quarter and has withstood disasters, war, pandemics, and even a bomb blast throughout its three-century history.
• Frenchmen Street
  Located in the Faubourg Marigny neighborhood, just outside the French Quarter, is the go-to spot for live music in New Orleans. This 2-block stretch features 20+ bars, venues, and restaurants with the highest concentration of New Orleans' best live music. Venues include The Spotted Cat Music Club, Snug Harbor Jazz Bistro, The Maison, and DBA.
• The National WWII Museum
  Designated by Congress as the official WWII museum of the United States, it's located on a six-acre campus where five soaring pavilions house historical exhibits. It tells the story of the American experience in the war that changed the world.
• Audubon Insectarium
  One of the most unique interactive museums in America, located just steps from the Mississippi River in downtown New Orleans. It encourages you to use all five senses as you explore exhibits devoted to insects and their relatives, including colorful butterflies, leafcutter ants, giant beetles, and live arthropods.

• The Dome
  The stadium's 273-foot tall, 680-foot diameter dome is the largest fixed-dome structure in the world. The steel frame encompasses 13 acres, and the distinctive silver exterior makes it an unmistakable New Orleans landmark.
• Statues
  • Rebirth Statue
    Located outside on the Plaza Level near Champions Square and Gate C. It depicts safety Steve Gleason blocking a punt against the Atlanta Falcons on September 25, 2006.
  • Tom Benson Statue
    Located in Champions Square, east of the stadium exterior. It depicts the late owner holding the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
• Championship Banners
  Banners for the Saint's Super Bowl XLIV ('09), and Conference Championship, and 9 Division titles hang from the rafters above the south endzone

  The names of the 8 Ring of Honor members are displayed on the upper terrace fascia inside the stadium

• Loge Club Levels
  The premium Loge Club environment spans the 200 and 300 levels. On the East side, premium club seating includes sections 207c–235c and 304c–320c, which grant access to the Caesars Legends Club located near Gate C. On the West side, club seating covers sections 249c–277c and 328c–3444c, providing access to the identical Champions Club near Gate G. Both club spaces offer full service bars and elevated dining setups.
• 100 Level Clubs
  The Caesars Rewards Legacy Club (east side) & Crown Royal Signature Clubs (west side) provide exclusive access to fans seated on the 100 Level between the 30 yard lines. Both spaces open two hours prior to kickoff and feature high-end private restrooms, premium lounge seating, upscale dining options, and full-service bars
• Mercedes-Benz End Zone Club
  Located on the ground level at the north side of the stadium, this area services 12 field level suites (accommodating 21 to 24 tickets each). Fans with club tickets in rows 1–6 of Sections 101C, 102C, 154C, 155C, and 156C also have access to this club. It features all-inclusive beer, wine, snacks, and a dedicated menu. It is accessed via a dedicated game-day entrance at Ochsner Gate A Ground.
• Luxury Suite Levels
  The stadium features 165 standard luxury suites divided into two primary tiers. Both tiers feature dedicated catering options, private entrances, and in suite staff service with size and layout being the primary differences.
  • Hancock Whitney Lower Suite Level (300 Level)
    Individual suites on this level accommodate 15 to 20 guests standard (with added capacity up to 32) and feature private balcony seating, lounge interiors, a wet bar, and climate control.
  • Venture Global Upper Suite Level (400 Level)
    Suites on this upper tier accommodate larger capacities ranging from 29 to 44 guests.

    Specializes in heavy Southern barbecue fare, highlighting slow-smoked brisket sandwiches and traditional cochon de lait (pulled roast pig) sandwiches.

  Beer prices range from $12-$19 depending on the type and location. The stadium offers local Louisiana beers, craft selections, and signature cocktails. Self-ordering kiosks and AI self-checkout scanners have been installed to dramatically increase speed of service.
  • Craft Beer
    The craft beer footprint inside the stadium is heavily anchored by the venue's exclusive partnership with Abita Brewing Company, the official craft beer of the New Orleans Saints. The Abita Bar (Section 114) is the main location while macro-craft options can be found at the Bayou Kitchen & Market locations throughout the stadium.
