• Driving & Parking
  From I-190, take Exit 6 Elm/Oak Streets or Exit 5 Church Street to downtown Buffalo garages and parking lots. KeyBank Center Parking Ramp attached directly to the arena located at 76 Illinois Street. The Harborcenter Ramp is located just north of the arena at 100 Washington Street. It is also connected and provides covered event parking. Surface parking options, such as the nearby lot on Perry Street.
• Public Transit
  • NFTA Metro Rail
    Taking the NFTA Metro Rail is the easiest way to avoid traffic, and riding the train anywhere along the above-ground downtown corridor is completely free. Serves the underground stations on Main Street, with the DL&W Metro Rail Station which is the closest to the arena.
  • Bus Lines
    Route 6, which drops off at the corner of Scott St. and Main St. Routes 14, 16, 74, and 101, which drop off a short block away at the corner of Michigan Ave. and South Park Ave.
• Rideshare
  Designated zones on Perry Street and Main Street. For a much faster departure, walk two blocks north toward Seneca Street or the LECOM Harborcenter block before requesting your ride.

Downtown Buffalo's waterfront revival has created excellent pregame options. Canalside, Chippewa Street, and the Cobblestone District all offer walkable nightlife.

• Pearl Street Grill & Brewery
  A brewpub on Pearl Street near the arena brewing creative beers and serving elevated pub fare. The multi-level space with a patio is a game-night favorite.
• Southern Tier Brewery Buffalo
  A craft brewery taproom on Chandler Street offering Southern Tier's full lineup. Quality craft beer in a walkable location.
• Labatt Brew House
  A bar and restaurant on Washington Street celebrating Labatt, a beer deeply intertwined with Buffalo's identity and the Sabres' brand.
• Ballyhoo
  A bar and restaurant near the arena with a lively game-night atmosphere.
• Buffalo Iron Works
  A bar, grill, and live music venue on Hamburg Street near the waterfront. Live bands, cold beer, and a neighborhood feel.
• Imperial Pizza - Main Street
  A Buffalo pizza institution serving thick, doughy, cup-and-char pepperoni pizza. The distinct Buffalo style that differs from New York City's thin crust.

Neighborhood Attractions

• Canalside
  Buffalo's revitalized waterfront entertainment district at the historic terminus of the Erie Canal. Ice skating in winter, concerts and kayaking in summer, and year-round events. About a 5-minute walk from the arena.
• French Connection Statue (National Hockey League)
  The legendary line of Gilbert Perreault, Rick Martin, and René Robert. Three French-Canadian players who played a dazzling, creative style in the 1970s, defined the franchise's identity.
• Buffalo Naval Park
  Located on the waterfront near the arena, the park features the USS Little Rock, USS The Sullivans, and the USS Croaker. Three decommissioned warships open for tours.
• Buffalo Transportation Pierce Arrow Museum
  A museum dedicated to Buffalo's transportation history, including the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed filling station. About 10 minutes from the arena.
• Larkin Square
  A community gathering space in the Hydraulics neighborhood, about 10 minutes from the arena. Food trucks, live music, and events.
• Buffalo City Hall
  An Art Deco masterpiece completed in 1931, about a 10-minute walk. Free observation deck on the 25th floor with panoramic views of Buffalo and Lake Erie.

• The French Connection Statue
  The focal point outside the arena. Located in Alumni Plaza is a 7-foot-tall bronze monument sculpted by Jerry McKenna. It depicts all three members of the legendary line. Gilbert Perreault, Rick Martin, and René Robert skating in full action, based on a famous photograph from an April 1975 playoff game against Montreal.
• The Alumni Plaza Pillars
  The physical structure of Alumni Plaza itself is a monument. The six concrete columns supporting the pedestrian walkway above the plaza are wrapped in brick and mortar. Every single player who has ever skated in an official game for the Buffalo Sabres is honored here with an individual plaque detailing the date of their franchise debut.
