A Guide to the Stadium
Acrisure Stadium serves as the home of the Pittsburgh Steelers and is located on the North Shore of the Allegheny River. Positioned directly across from downtown Pittsburgh, the venue is defined by its views of the city skyline, three rivers, and iconic yellow bridges.
Getting to the Stadium
The stadium is on Pittsburgh's North Shore, directly across the Allegheny River from downtown. The location provides multiple access points by car, foot across the iconic bridges, or by river ferry.
Driving & Parking
- DrivingFrom I-279 North, take Exit 1A (North Shore) and follow signs to stadium parking. From I-376 East (Parkway West), cross the Fort Pitt Bridge and take I-279 North. From the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-76), take I-376 West to I-279 North. Game-day traffic on the North Shore begins backing up 2-3 hours before kickoff, particularly on the bridges.
- ParkingOfficial stadium lots and nearby garages fill the area between Acrisure and PNC Park (home of the Pirates). The Gold Lots east of the stadium and Green Lots to the west are the most convenient but sell out quickly. The Red Lots closer to PNC are generally cheaper. Fans can pre-purchase parking through JustPark, the Steelers official parking partner. Green Lots 31 and 33 as well as most of the Blue Lots north of PNC are available for day of parking. Additional private parking is available in the Golden Triangle on the downtown side of the river, a short walk across the iconic bridges to the stadium For tailgate supplies, Giant Eagle Supermarket on the North Shore is the go-to local grocery chain. For beverages, FINE WINE & GOOD SPIRITS has locations on the North Shore, downtown and in the Strip District. Pennsylvania Libations in the Strip specializes in Pennsylvania-made spirits, wines, and beers.
Public Transit
- Light Rail (The "T") & Park and RidesThe "T" is free to ride between any Downtown station and the Allegheny Station (located right next to the stadium).
- Suburban Park and RidesFor those coming from the South Hills, park for cheap and ride the T into the city. Key stations include

- Washington JunctionA major transfer hub with over 200 spaces.
- Memorial Hall / Castle ShannonHigh-capacity lots along the Blue and Red lines.
Rideshare
- Designated rideshare zones are on General Robinson Street and Art Rooney Avenue. Post-game, the Roberto Clemente Bridge walk to downtown puts you in a better position for pickup. The North Shore can gridlock for 30-45 minutes after games.

The North Shore near the stadiums is the prime pregame area but it's proximity to the Golden Triangle and Strip District provide a variety of options
Pregame Bars & Restaurants
- Located on the North Shore, this craft brewery and restaurant sits steps from the stadium. Their taproom features a full lineup of Southern Tier and Victory beers on tap, plus a solid food menu. The outdoor patio is prime pregame territory with views toward the city.
- A huge sports bar on the North Shore right next to PNC Park with multiple floors, an outdoor space, and party atmosphere make it one of the highest-volume pregame bars in the stadium area. Expect big crowds and loud music.
- A craft beer-focused bar on the North Shore with an exceptional rotating tap list. If you care about quality beer over quantity, this is your spot. The knowledgeable staff can guide you through local Pennsylvania craft offerings.
- A Pittsburgh institution on the North Shore known for their Italian subs and hoagies. The line can stretch out the door on game days, but the sandwiches are worth the wait. It is cash only.
- No Pittsburgh stadium guide is complete without Primanti's. The original Strip District location on 18th Street is the pilgrimage site. Their signature sandwiches piled with french fries, coleslaw, and tomato between thick Italian bread are a Pittsburgh rite of passage.
- Located on the North Shore, this country-themed bar and restaurant offers live music, Southern-inspired food, and a lively atmosphere. The rooftop space has great views of the city.
- A multi-level sports bar on the North Shore with wall-to-wall screens, an extensive drink menu, and a game-day energy that builds as kickoff approaches.
- A premium cigar lounge and bar on the North Shore offering craft cocktails, a curated whiskey selection, and cigars in a sophisticated setting. A different kind of pregame experience for those who prefer it.
Monuments & Unique Features
Acrisure Stadium and the surrounding North Shore celebrate Pittsburgh's rich football heritage and the city's industrial character.
- The Immaculate Reception MonumentLocated outside the stadium near Gate A, this plaque commemorates Franco Harris's legendary catch on December 23, 1972. The bronze relief captures Harris in mid-stride, and it's the most photographed spot at the stadium.
- The Chief Art Rooney StatueA statue of the Steelers' beloved founding owner stands outside the main entrance, depicting Rooney in his signature cigar-and-fedora look. It's a gathering point for fans and a tribute to the man who built the franchise.
- The Great HallThe stadium's main entrance features historic displays including the team's 6 Lombardi Trophies, lockers from Three Rivers Stadium, and murals amongst features. - The Draft Legacy FieldOutside Gate A, a new 44 x 25-yard synthetic field (a remnant of the 2026 NFL Draft) is now a pregame fan zone for kids and families.

- FedEx Great Hall ClubA premium club experience with all-inclusive food and beverage, field-level views, and exclusive access near the south end zone.
- PNC Champions ClubThis section is located in the south end zone and includes five field-level sections. A signature feature of this club is the Chief’s Room, a private bar with floor-to-ceiling windows providing views of the player tunnel.
- North Club LoungeSituated on the third level, it contains the only indoor row of seats (Row C) in the entire stadium.
- Club SeatsLocated on the 200 level, club seats provide access to the climate-controlled Club Lounge with premium food and beverage, wider padded seats, and private restrooms.
- Luxury SuitesOver 120 suites are available across multiple levels, accommodating 12-30 guests with catering, private restrooms, and dedicated attendants.
- North End ZoneSections 501-512 in the upper deck offer some of the best value seats with views of the downtown skyline behind the south end zone
- Steelers Student Rushhis program is a dedicated initiative for college students, providing limited Standing Room Only (SRO) tickets at a significant discount to ensure accessibility for younger fans.
- Field SeatsLocated in the southeast corner behind the visitor sideline, these consist of only two rows. They include access to a private Field Seat Lounge with all-inclusive food and beverage.
Concessions
- Signature ItemsPrimanti Bros. sandwiches are available throughout the stadium — the Pittsburgh classic loaded with fries and slaw. Quaker Steak & Lube offers wings. Burgatory serves creative burgers. Local favorites Manny's BBQ and Nakama Japanese Steakhouse round out the premium options.
- Value ItemsStandard hot dogs, nachos, pretzels, and popcorn are available throughout. Prices run $10-$16 for basic items. The "Terrible Dog" (a foot-long hot dog) is a fun stadium exclusive.
- DrinksLocal craft beer from Southern Tier, Voodoo Brewery, and other Pennsylvania breweries is well-represented. IC Light — Pittsburgh's hometown beer — is a staple. Standard domestics are everywhere. Beer prices run $12-$16. The stadium also offers Iron City Beer, another local classic.
