Getting to the Arena
- Driving & ParkingApproaching from the North: Take I-80 West toward the Bay Bridge, and take the 5th Street exit south. Turn left onto 5th St, which transitions into Marina Blvd / Terry A. Francois Blvd heading south along the water. Turn right onto Warriors Way. Approaching from the South: Take I-280 North and take the Mariposa Street exit heading east. Turn left onto Third Street, then a right onto 16th Street, or continue east to Terry A. Francois Blvd to approach from the waterfront side. Mercedes-Benz Garage / Chase Center Garage: Accessible via 99 Warriors Way (approaching from the north) or 390 16th Street (approaching from the south).
- Public TransitMuni Metro rail is the absolute best way to access Chase Center. A valid event ticket functions as a free Muni fare pass on event days.
- Muni Metro TrainThe T-Third Street Line: This is the direct light rail line servicing the arena. It drops fans off right at the front steps at the UCSF/Chase Center Station (16th Street) platform. The "S Shuttle Mission Bay" (Special Event Trains): On event days, SFMTA runs supplementary high-frequency special event trains designated with "S Shuttle Mission Bay" head signs. These run roughly every 10 minutes between Chinatown-Rose Pak and Chase Center. BART Connection: Take BART from anywhere in the Bay Area into downtown San Francisco. Exit at Powell Station, walk through the underground concourse to connect to the Union Square/Market Street Muni station, and board the T-Third or S Shuttle south to the arena.
- Bus LinesRoute 78X- 16th Street Arena Express: The most critical event bus route. It provides a rapid, direct express shuttle service between the 16th St. Mission BART Station and Chase Center. Route 22 Fillmore: Provides direct daily cross-town service terminating right by the arena and runs on its standard regular schedule. Route 15 Bayview Hunters Point Express: A highly efficient bus line that runs right along 3rd Street, dropping off directly at the arena plaza.
