Anchoring the Victory Park district since 2001, the American Airlines Center serves as the high energy home for both the Dallas Stars and the Dallas Mavericks. This landmark venue transformed a former industrial area into a walkable entertainment hub.

Getting to the Arena

  • Driving & Parking
    From I-35E, take the Continental Avenue or Victory Avenue exit. From the Dallas North Tollway, exit Wycliff Avenue and head east. Arena-adjacent garages in Victory Park. Surface lots along Victory Avenue and Olive Street offer slightly cheaper options.
  • Public Transit
    DART Rail serves the Victory station, directly adjacent to the arena. The Green and Orange lines connect from across the DFW metro. DART is the easiest way to get to a game.
    • Light Rail
      The DART Rail Green and Orange Line stops at Victory Station, directly adjacent to the arena. The train connects to downtown Dallas, Deep Ellum, and the broader DART network. Transfers from the Red and Blue lines can be made at EBJ Union station which is about a mile from the stadium.
    • Commuter Rail
      The TRE commuter rail runs from Fort Worth to Victory Station with stops in Richland Hills, Hurst, and Irving. There is no commuter rail service on Sundays
  • Rideshare
    The designated rideshare areas are located on All Star Way north of the stadium and Nowitzki Way to the south.

  • A 5.2-acre urban park built over a freeway (Woodall Rodgers Freeway), about a 10-minute walk from the arena. Food trucks, games, free fitness classes, and a children's park make it one of Dallas's best public spaces.
  • A world-class science museum designed by Thom Mayne, located adjacent to Klyde Warren Park. Interactive exhibits on dinosaurs, physics, sports, and the human body. About a 10-minute walk from the arena.

Monuments & Unique Features

  • The Dirk Nowitzki Statue
    A statue of the franchise's greatest player outside the arena celebrates the German-born superstar who spent his entire 21-year career in Dallas and led the Mavericks to their only championship.
  • The 2011 Championship Banner
    Nowitzki's playoff run playing through a torn tendon in his left hand and a 101-degree fever is one of the most heroic performances in NBA history. The Mavericks defeated LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh's Miami Heat in six games.
  • Retired Numbers
    Mark Aguirre's #24 in January 2026. This joins the other retired numbers hanging in the rafters: Brad Davis (#15), Rolando Blackman (#22), Derek Harper (#12), and Dirk Nowitzki (#41).

Seating & Special Sections

  • Courtside Seats
    Row AAA: The most elite seats in the building, located directly on the floor. For Mavericks games, row AAA puts fans feet from the team benches. For Stars games, seats are positioned directly against the acrylic glass.
  • The Flagship Level
    Positioned just above the lower 100-level bowl. The lowest and most exclusive ring of suites in the arena providing spectacular, unobstructed sightlines close to the action. These are semi-private, 4-person corporate boxes.
  • RYSE Energy Club
    South End of the Concourse, near Section 221: A newer premium concept at the arena, these are exclusive, semi-private seats sold in groups of four, attached directly to a luxurious private club lounge.
  • The Admiral Level
    Located above the Platinum level: Situated on the uppermost premium tier, these elegant, semi-private boxes are designed for smaller groups of 4 to 6 or 8 to 12 guests. They offer a suite-like environment with a more collaborative, social atmosphere.
  • Flagship & Admiral Suites
    Fully private entertainment spaces accommodating groups of 18, 22, 32, or 50+ guests. Flagship suites sit on the lower suite ring, while Admiral suites sit on the upper ring.
