Allegiant Stadium

UNLV Runnin' Rebels

3333 Al Davis Way Las Vegas, NV 89118

A Guide to Allegiant Stadium

Allegiant Stadium gives UNLV Rebels football a spectacular climate-controlled home beside the Las Vegas Strip. The sleek black-and-silver dome surrounds a removable artificial field with giant video boards, club spaces and resort-level hospitality, while the Star of Nevada Marching Band, scarlet student section and Fremont Cannon rivalry give college games their own identity inside one of America’s most advanced sports venues.

Getting to Allegiant Stadium

Allegiant Stadium is at 3333 Al Davis Way, west of Interstate 15 between Hacienda Avenue and Russell Road. The Strip lies to the east, Mandalay Bay is the nearest major resort and the controlled Hacienda Bridge supplies the most familiar pedestrian approach on event days.

Driving & Parking

  • Purchase before arrival
On-site and satellite parking is sold through the stadium's authorized platform and varies by event. Select the UNLV game, exact lot and vehicle type rather than buying a Raiders product by mistake.
  • Approach by lot
I-15 and Dean Martin Drive exits may close or restrict turning. Follow the digital parking pass directions because adjacent lots use different approaches.
  • Opening time
UNLV on-site tailgating has traditionally begun four hours before kickoff, while the organized 2026 Rebel Pregame Party opens three hours before. Confirm the current game's lot time.
  • Accessible parking
ADA spaces require a valid placard or plate and the matching parking credential. Courtesy shuttles operate from designated areas; request mobility details before event day.
  • Hotel strategy
Visitors staying at Mandalay Bay, Luxor or Excalibur can avoid a vehicle entirely and walk the controlled route. Allow time for the bridge crowd and security line.
  • Cashless operation
Parking is cashless. Keep the pass downloaded to the mobile wallet before entering the traffic perimeter.
  • Postgame egress
Roads may operate one-way until lots empty. Follow officers and the event map rather than trying to cross traffic toward the Strip immediately.

Public Transit

  • RTC regular network
Las Vegas buses serve Las Vegas Boulevard and nearby resort corridors. Use RTC's live planner for the specific day and expect a final walk.
  • The Deuce
The Strip route can deliver fans to the Mandalay Bay area, from which the Hacienda Bridge leads west to the stadium. It is slow in heavy tourist traffic.
  • Game Day Express limitation
RTC's widely advertised Game Day Express is scheduled for Raiders preseason and regular-season games, not automatically for UNLV. Do not assume it operates for a Rebels date.
  • Monorail limitation
The Las Vegas Monorail runs east of the Strip and does not reach Allegiant. It requires a long cross-Strip walk or another connection.
  • Airport arrival
Harry Reid International Airport is close in mileage but separated by busy roads and security-sensitive corridors. Bus, taxi or rideshare is safer than attempting to walk.

Rideshare (Uber/Lyft)

  • Use the event map
Allegiant assigns multiple rideshare lots and may change them by event. Confirm the current UNLV map in the stadium app before booking.
  • General drop-off fallback
The designated taxi and transportation zone near Diablo Drive and Procyon Street uses a marked southwest walking path to the stadium.
  • Strip pickup alternative
After the game, walking across Hacienda to a permitted Mandalay Bay-area pickup can be faster than waiting beside the stadium, but follow police pedestrian routing.
  • Surge and heat
Driver demand and prices rise sharply as the bowl empties. Carry water for the outdoor wait, keep the phone charged and never stand along I-15 ramps or closed roadways.

Pregame Festivities

UNLV's 2026 pregame is centered in Lot C. The new Rebel Pregame Party opens three hours before kickoff inside a large cooled shade tent with televised games, all-you-can-eat food and beer and wine for guests 21 and older. Free live music and a cash bar outside the ticketed area retain an open gathering place for fans arriving across the Hacienda Bridge.

Tailgating

  • Rebel Pregame Party
Purchase a separate pass for the all-inclusive Lot C experience. Advance prices are lowest, with higher game-week and game-day rates.
  • Free Lot C music
Fans without a party ticket may stop for the live performance outside, buy from the cashless bar and enjoy the public atmosphere before entry.
  • On-site parking-lot tailgates
Tailgating is permitted only in designated lots and directly behind the vehicle without taking another stall or blocking a drive aisle.
  • Heat protection
Use shade, cooling towels and water even for autumn games. Asphalt temperatures can remain dangerous, and alcohol accelerates dehydration.
  • Grill and alcohol rules
Follow Allegiant's current fuel, flame, container and cutoff policy. Glass, oversized setups and selling food or alcohol are prohibited.
  • Close before kickoff
Secure equipment and move toward entry early. The enormous building and security perimeter make a “five-minute walk” unrealistic.

Pregame Bars & Restaurants

  • The nearest resort offers restaurants, sports bars and indoor climate control before the Hacienda walk. Reservations help on Raiders or concert crossover weekends.
  • Luxor and Excalibur
These neighboring resorts broaden casual dining choices and connect to Mandalay Bay's side of the Strip. Allow substantial interior walking time.
  • South of the stadium, this dining and retail district works well for groups arriving by car or rideshare before the event traffic peak.
  • For 2026, UNLV offers game-ticket packages granting guests 21 and older field-level viewing plus pregame and postgame parties. Tables and bottle service cost extra.
  • The all-inclusive food makes this the simplest choice for visitors who value schedule certainty over exploring the Strip.

Gameday Traditions

  • Star of Nevada Marching Band
UNLV's band performs at the Lot C program and on the field, leading scarlet-and-gray cheers inside the NFL-scale room.
  • “Win with the Rebels”
The fight song follows scores and brings a recognizably collegiate sound to the otherwise Raiders-branded building.
  • Hey Reb spirit legacy
UNLV retired its former mascot, so current game presentation focuses on the Rebels wordmark, band, cheer and student identity rather than a costumed figure.
  • Fremont Cannon rivalry
UNLV and Nevada play for a 545-pound replica howitzer. The winner paints it school colors and retains possession for the year.
  • Scarlet student section
The south end supplies UNLV's most concentrated energy. Its 2026 configuration alternates between full retractable seating and field-level bleachers depending on stadium logistics.
  • Ninth Island connection
Hawai‘i games recognize Las Vegas' enormous Hawai‘i community, producing a distinctive crowd and cultural crossover.

Monuments & Features

  • Al Davis Memorial Torch
The giant 3D-printed torch and memorial wall dominate the north end. Its flame effect is reserved for event presentation and symbolizes the Raiders founder.
  • Lanai doors
The enormous north window can open toward the Strip, though weather and event operations determine whether visitors see the open configuration.
  • Dual-field system
UNLV uses a removable artificial surface on the stadium floor, distinct from the Raiders' retractable natural-grass tray that rolls outdoors.
  • The nightclub-style field-level space places guests immediately behind an end zone with DJs, tables and premium service.
  • Black exterior and light bands
The stadium's dark shell and illuminated roof-edge ribbons create one of American sports' most recognizable nighttime profiles.

History & Notable Moments

  • Opening season (2020)
Allegiant began operation during the pandemic, with UNLV playing its first game there without a normal crowd.
  • First UNLV win (2021)
The Rebels defeated New Mexico 31–17 for their first victory in the stadium.
  • Fremont Cannon breakthrough (2022)
UNLV beat Nevada 27–22 to reclaim the cannon after holding at the goal line in the final seconds.
  • Mountain West Championship (2023)
A conference-record crowd of 31,473 watched UNLV host Boise State in the program's first league title game appearance.
  • Championship return (2024)
UNLV again hosted Boise State, this time with full south-end student seating in the national spotlight.
  • UCLA victory (2025)
The Rebels defeated UCLA 30–23, strengthening their recent run of success in the dome.

Seating & Sections

UNLV normally sells a reduced Allegiant configuration of roughly 61,500 rather than the Raiders' full 65,000 inventory. The 100 level is closest, the 200 level mixes clubs and loges and the 300 level provides broad views at lower prices. Check the UNLV-specific map because sections and student layouts change.

  • 100-level sidelines
Lower sideline sections deliver the clearest view and proximity to the benches, but the shallow angle in the first rows can hide play development.
  • 200-level club areas
Club sections combine excellent elevation with private lounges, concessions and restrooms. Confirm whether food is included; access alone does not guarantee it.
  • 300 level
Upper seats are farther from the field but offer strong tactical views, climate control and access to full concourses.
  • South student section
The 2026 setup alternates by game between retractable seating and field-level bleachers. Students must follow the announced claim and entry process.
  • Admission includes field-level viewing rather than a conventional reserved seat experience. It is limited to guests 21 and older.
  • Champions Club and suites
Premium products provide VIP entrances, hospitality and sometimes included food, beverages or parking; terms vary by package.
  • Accessible seating
Wheelchair and companion locations exist across levels. Purchase through UNLV or the stadium's accessible service rather than an unverified resale listing.

Concessions

Allegiant's food program is extensive, cashless and searchable by level, section and dietary category through the stadium's live menu. Silver & Black Hospitality operates traditional counters, local concepts, self-checkout shops and premium catering.

  • House Deals
Selected stands across all three main levels offer discounted hot dogs, chips and cheese, soda and packaged chips.
  • Guy Fieri's Tailgate Kitchen
The Section 243 concept supplies oversized, football-oriented dishes in the 200-level concourse.
  • Las Vegas and Southwest flavors
Border Grill, BBQ Mexicana and Viva add tacos, elote, chile and other regional choices beyond standard stadium fare.
  • Quick service
America First Smart Shops and self-checkout markets sell packaged drinks and snacks with shorter transaction times.
  • Plant-based choices
The live guide identifies vegetarian and vegan items, including buffalo cauliflower wraps, fruit, pretzels, chips, salsa and guacamole.
  • Cashless payment
Cards and mobile wallets are accepted. Cash-to-card kiosks operate inside for guests arriving with currency.

Bag Policy

  • One clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bag no larger than 12 by 6 by 12 inches or one clear one-gallon freezer bag may enter.
  • One small non-clear clutch, purse or wallet no larger than 4.5 by 6.5 by 2 inches may accompany the clear bag.
  • Medical supplies, breast pumps and feeding supplies receive inspection exceptions. Diaper bags, backpacks, fanny packs, camera bags, luggage and seat cushions are otherwise prohibited.
  • Allegiant operates three cashless bag-check locations, currently listed in Lots B and E and at 5455 Polaris Avenue. The nonrefundable charge is $20 per bag.
  • Empty soft-sided or collapsible water bottles, blankets, binoculars without cases and small handheld fans without liquid are permitted. Outside food and beverages are prohibited.
  • Weapons, pepper spray, hard containers, professional cameras, tripods, selfie sticks, drones, noisemakers and non-service animals are prohibited.
  • Every guest and item is screened, and the venue generally prohibits reentry. Download the mobile ticket and stadium map before approaching the gate.
