2.2

Cubs early lead. Ohtani triple turned home run. Trout bases loaded single. Seeing those two play together is the only redeeming thing here

Category Ratings

Transit/Parking 1.0

Angel stadium is in a warehouse district surrounded by parking lots. The notorious SoCal traffic is always an issue. I could bump this score up if I was coming from SD because there is a regional transit center near by, but I'm not sure how late it runs

Neighborhood 3.0

There are a few good places to eat and drink around the stadium including a couple of really good breweries. Its pretty easy to drive around the immediate area

History 1.0

This is really, really bad. A franchise with limited history to celebrate but their championship Banners were old and ragged. There's no commemoration of iconic players. Little to no recognition of the history of the building either, which is the 4th or 5th oldest in baseball

Atmosphere 1.0

Woof. This was actually a good game and an Angels win but you wouldn't know it from the crowd. Literally the only cheering happened for Ohtani and they sat down in a huge rbi spot for Trout

Line of Sight 3.0

We had pretty good seats down the 3rd Base Line. Concourse views were good. Nothing special but not bad

Seat: Section 111, Row P, Seat 4

Presentation/Display 3.5

Video boards were solid. Relevant information was displayed in multiple locations around the stadium. They displayed some advanced stats. I rated this higher than the other guys in the party

Concessions 2.0

Very basic. Centerfield food court was dead with some places closed.

Bathrooms 2.5

I honestly don't remember them one way or the other so just going avg rating here

Cost/Value/Pricing 3.5

Everything was relatively cheap, especially the tickets to go see 2 future HOF hit back to back

Personal Enjoyment 1.5

This is a bottom 3 or 4 stadium I've ever been to. It felt old, basic and without anything particularly distinctive
